Using my interpersonal skills alongside my knowledge in graphic design, I was responsible for designing publication material and article images for a slew of projects during my time at The Guidon, all while ensuring each design fit with the specifications provided. This all culminated in me working with a team of talented designers to create publication posters for a band of the Ateneo Musicians Pool.
I was tasked with collaborating with the writers to create a banner that depicted the power of planned disinformation to bolster political campaigns during election season.
Given the theme of collaboration despite differing opinions, I focused on creating a unique way of communication communication and its importance in the Ateneo de Manila University, especially between athletes and non-athletes given their different opinions and schedules.
As the topic was about bringing attention to the mental health of our university's athletes, showcasing an athlete not just venting, but doing so while having his busy thoughts untangled was a unique way of communicating such a message without bogging the reader down with complex imagery.
With this, I was tasked with creating infographics in Tagalog and English given the text and information, all in a way that was easy to follow despite the large amount of information. Given I could not really do much about the content, I focused on structure and composition using colors and encompassing shapes to ensure people could follow the flow of information during an important time in our country.
